Historical Character Workshop with Sally Bays

Uncovering historical characters and making them your own

In this workshop, participants will learn how to take characters from history and turn them into literary inspiration. The workshop includes lecture, discussion, and writing components. 

Sally Bays is a northwest writer currently living in Sequim, WA, with her husband and four youngest kids. She has a BA in English from Colorado State and an MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Kentucky University. When not writing or volunteering with her many organizations, she enjoys fiber arts and napping.

This event is put on in collaboration with the Hypatia-in-the-Woods artist residency program.
