Leyna Krow is reading as part of her book tour for her new short-story collection, Sinkhole & Other Inexplicable Voids (Penguin Random House, 2025).

Leyna Krow is the author of the novel Fire Season, which was longlisted for the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, and the short story collection I’m Fine, But You Appear to Be Sinking, which was a Believer Book Award finalist. She lives in Spokane, Washington, with her husband and two children.

Megan Kruse is the author of Call Me Home (Hawthorne Books, 2015). Her work has appeared widely in journals and anthologies, and she has received recent residency support from Wildacres Retreat, PLAYA, and the Carolyn Moore Writers House. She was one of the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 for 2015 and the recipient of a 2016 Pacific Northwest Book Award. She teaches fiction for the low-residency MFA program at Eastern Oregon University and Gotham Writers Workshop. She currently lives in Olympia, where she is at work on a novel about oysters and grief.
