Marigolds are having a moment. They’re the bold signal of the end of summer and the push towards fall. Another flower family with surprising variety, we’ll explore lots of new forms and colors as well as the fascinating cultural history of this flower. You’ll leave this class with a beautiful flower arrangement and knowledge about how to grow marigolds as well as how to arrange them successfully.

Classes will be held at Marmo (217 W Cota St, Shelton, WA 98584). Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

A Year in Bloom is a program led by Megan Homewood from House Flowers. Every month, Megan will lead a class where you can explore each flower species through an immersive workshop, using unique varieties of locally grown blooms. Ample time to design with flowers of your choice. Floral history and cultivation tips. Arranging notes and design guidance.
